LIVE TO LOVE PENANG – December 2011

It’s the last month of year 2011 and the tree planting activity for December brings us back to Kulim; SRJKC Chio Min. This is the 2nd tree planting activity at this school, thanks to Mr. HC Goh, our Kulim Live to Love member who co-ordinated this activity with the school authority and also with the support from members from Live To Love Penang led by Mr Ong and Michael Tan. A total of 14 members comprising of both adults and children helped to plant a total of ten (10) Khaya trees around the school field.

Since it’s the long school holidays for Malaysia hence no students were involved, we planted the trees with the hope that the school children will appreciate and cherish the benefits of the trees being planted when school re-open for the new semester in 2012.

We anticipate more tree planting activity at SRJCK Chio Min (A) and (B) by year 2012 so as to provide more awareness to the school children on the positive impacts of tree planting to the environment.
